Tachic Hickman-Piazza is a Filmmaker, Writer, and Producer with 10 years of experience working in the engine known as "Hollywood." She's a native of New Orleans, though her career has afforded her the opportunity to live and work in both New York and Los Angeles. Her start in the business was in New York, as a writing intern on BET 106 & Park show in 2004. Since then, Tachic has worked on various film projects climbing the ladder from being a Production Assistant to a Production Coordinator, coordinating a slew of projects. Throughout her career Tachic has worked on projects for a multitude of networks and Production Companies including...HBO, Sony, Warner Bros., Disney, Walden Media, TLC, Comedy Central, NBC, FOX, TNT, WWE, GSN, LIFETIME, E! Networks, MTV Networks, VH1 Networks, Current TV, DNA, Anonymous Content, PYTKA, MJZ, Independent Media, Summit Entertainment, Millennium Films, and a host of other New York and L.A. based Commercial and Music Video Production companies. Outside of Production Coordinating, Tachic is constantly writing and developing her own material. Tachic produced her first documentary along with her Writing/Producing partner, Monique Barrett, for a competition held by Current TV back in 2006 titled "Hollywood Wears A Mask."  In addition to the Fall release of "We Are The Prep," Tachic also directed and independently produced a PSA about the plight of Xavier Prep. The PSA's main intent was simply to garner big dollars and financial support for Tachic's Alma Mater. The PSA also served as a pre-cursor for the "We Are The Prep" documentary.
