Tabahani Book Circle

Tabahani is celebrating our 17th year of reading together!  Tabahani is a Swahili word which means, "be well educated".  Our mission is to support African American Writers, Authors, Book Sellers, and Vendors, and to increase the joy of reading for pleasure to younger generations.  We currently have 20 members in the Los Angeles/South Bay area. New Members are oriented each year in November.  Membership is by invitation only.
