Stephanie James Foundation

The Stephanie James Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization designated to provide funding for animals in need. We have been in existence since 2010 (back then, loosely organized and not quite non-profit status) and have steadily grown ever since. We have a revolving goal of donating some awesome dog agility equipment to Fleet Peeples Dog Park in Winter Park, Florida. This is one of the top 10 dog parks in the nation, and one that Stephanie and her friends used to visit quite regularly. Stephanie worked as a zookeeper for many years and fostering dogs for a Labrador rescue in Tennessee. She was involved in a fatal accident involving one of her elephants she worked with at Knoxville Zoo. We miss our daughter, sister, aunt and friend terribly and we wanted to do something good in the face of terrible sadness. With your help, we will be able to donate some fantastic, naturalistic agility equipment. Steph used agility to help one of her dogs with separation anxiety and she believed in it passionately. Help us get some great equipment and make a difference in the lives of families with dogs.
