SIPS For Sickle Cell

Sips for Sickle Cell is a charity organization geared toward Supporting, Increasing Philanthropy and Spreading awareness (SIPS) of the needs of children afflicted with Sickle Cell Disease. SIPS in particular is focused on supporting the efforts of the Pediatric Comprehensive Sickle Cell Program at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, North Shore/LIJ in Long Island, New York.

SIPS was pioneered two years ago with the hopes of providing additional patient support through extracurricular and transitory activities for children afflicted with Sickle Cell. Over the last 3 years, SIPS has raised money for the pediatric division of Cohen as well as garnered support towards extending pediatric patient services that would last throughout the fiscal year. As the success of our philanthropic efforts have amplified, we hope with our current initiative to have a much larger influence on the life of a child afflicted with this disease.

With your support we hope to continue our efforts and aim to make SIPS one of your charitable givingorganizations year over year. All provisions are tax deductible and will be coupled with official letters of gratitude from Cohen Children’s Hospital, a mention in their “Cohen Children’s & North Shore LIJ’s Kid’s First Magazine”, and personal updates on the children we have influenced.
