Sarah Beaulieu
Sarah Beaulieu is the founder of The Uncomfortable Conversation, Inc., an organization dedicated to making conversations about sexual violence less uncomfortable, especially for men. In 2017, The Uncomfortable Conversation developed and produced 50+ short videos illustrating ways to talk about and engage with sexual violence.
As a survivor of sexual violence herself, her work is grounded in deeply personal experience yet informed by nearly two decades of work with survivors and the organizations that serve them. Sarah writes, speaks and consults frequently about the role of conversations in addressing sexual violence and related communications and content strategies. Her work has been published by the Providence Journal, AskMen.com, Cognoscenti (WBUR), the Nonprofit Quarterly, Commonhealth (WBUR) and the Stanford Social Innovation Review.
Sarah lives in Boston, MA with her husband, Marc, two young children, and dog.
