PyStar Philly

Hi! We're PyStar Philly. We offer workshops and other events to introduce women and their friends to Python and programming. We're inspired by the PyStar groups in the Bay Area and Minneapolis, the Boston Python Workshop, and PyLadies in LA, and we're connected to the Philly Python Users Group.

We held our first introduction to Python workshop on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Azavea. Our first Python project night was on July 6 at Chapterhouse Cafe & Gallery. Our second introduction to Python workshop is on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at The Hacktory. We plan to offer events (workshops, project nights, etc) about every 2 months.
