• LEARN about the best ways to advocate for you child. As a parent or guardian, you are your child’s first teacher. At Parent Academy you will learn the best ways to advocate for, assist with and nurture your child’s education.
• SHARE your experience with other parents and guardians. An important aspect of Parent Academy is understanding that as a public school parent, you are not alone. Parent Academy events bring together parents and guardians from all over the city and all walks of life, and every parent who attends has a voice.
• CONNECT with educators, administrators and content experts.Ask questions, get answers, see results. Parent Academy gives you the opportunity to speak one on one with school administrators, educators and content experts
