NYC DOE Center for Assistive Technology

The NYC Department of Education (DOE) Center for Assistive Technology (CAT) is comprised of speech, occupational & physical therapists, specifically trained to conduct Assistive Technology (AT) / Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations and trainings for NYC DOE preschool and school-age students. In addition, the CAT team provides information to school and administration regarding the utilization of technolo-gies in their schools to meet the needs of students through UDL and programmatic activities.
