Moya Lloyd is a freelance consultant and project manager working in community arts. She is also an experienced teacher working in the post-compulsory sector. Since the late 1990s she has worked with local authorities as well as with private and voluntary organisations to devise and develop arts projects, with a particular focus on arts, health and wellbeing.
Previous roles include working with Walsall Council Creative Development Team as a specialist Arts into Health development officer and as Arts Development Officer at South Staffordshire Council. She has worked as a public art consultant with companies including Lidl and Morris Homes.
She has specialised in supporting emerging artists in their career development through providing mentoring support, networking events and tailormade courses. This has included running the 'Creative Connections' and 'Steps to Self-employment' programmes at Wolverhampton Adult Education Service as well as roles with Wolverhampton University and Coventry University.
Her current projects include working as project manager for the Wolverhampton Camera Obscura Project, running the Creative Monday, monthly networking event in Wolverhampton and working as arts development advisor for Creative Wolverhampton CIC.
