As exciting as Graduation can be, it can also be a bit overwhelming. We understand that for many this may be their very first introduction to the military lifestyle. To help families navigate through this sometimes unmarked territory, we developed the Extended Family Day Program. The three day program is designed to help you get a peek into the life of a recruit going through training, discover programs that provide support for you and your soon-to-be Marine, and learn what happens after Graduation. Both new and experienced military families can benefit from the Extended Family Day Program and everyone is welcome to join us.
The Extended Family Day Program is part of the Marine Corps Community Services South Carolina (MCCS SC) network which provides Quality of Life programs for Marines, Sailors and families stationed at Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort and the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island. These programs and activities are designed to support basic life needs and promote the physical, financial, mental and emotional well being of all active duty and retired Marines, Sailors and their families
