I have been an advocate for the Central Coast wine growing region for the last 2 years while working in marketing & social media for Hahn Family Wines. It has such diversity that it is really hard to define. The Santa Lucia Highlands is famed for it's Burgundy varietals, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, while Paso Robles excels with Zinfandel, Cab, Syrah and Rhone Varietals and San Luis Obispo with more Pinot. I created Central Coast Wine Day #CCWineDay in 2012 to help showcase what micro-climates exist in areas like Temecula, Arroyo Grande and others. This is a world-class wine growing region that has become popular in Europe and Canada. Hahn, Talbott and Paraiso has been a leading proponent in the SLH and Monterey County and by celebrating the whole region we help educate consumers and the trade about this very special place.
