In our premier undergraduate class, the Longhorn Startup Lab, students form interdisciplinary teams to start real companies. They enjoy the resources of a semester-long program of startup acceleration led by well-known faculty who are practitioners of the art and who are augmented by successful guest speakers and team-specific mentors.
The Longhorn Startup Seminar is a course for individual students wishing to benefit from the classroom sessions and who may have entrepreneurship opportunities in future semesters. Our two Longhorn Startup Studios serve both professors seeking to commercialize university technology and leaders of growing tech companies that are beyond early startup stage and are learning to scale.
