Jacqueline Clay Chester
Jacqueline Clay Chester, is a local Atlanta playwright whose play A Conversation Between Malcolm X and President Obama, made its debut in 2009 and has played every year since. Ina's Loft was written in 2011 and had a reading at The Auburn Avenue Research Library in Atlanta, GA. in 2013. Ina's Loft has a powerful message about an ill that permeates societies world wide. Come see Ina's Loft and help spread the word that Child Abuse can scar the child for life and without help can cripple the adult.
Jacqueline Clay Chester has several other plays to present some speaking to socially conscious themes. She has one book and one short story pending for 2014. The book is a memoir about her trip as an American model in Moscow, Russia. The short story recounts the daily hardships of being a slave just before the Civil War. She was also the national television diabetes spokesperson for AmMed Direct, from 2004 to 2009. She has gone on to make other television commercials including Northside Hospital, Atlanta.. As a jewelry designer her hand crafted designs graced both main floor and second floor gift shops of the High Museum, Atlanta.
