Ingrid Weel Photography

Ingrid Weel was born on April Fool’s Day in 1972 and enjoys both UK and Canadian Citizenships.

She received her BA Hons in Media Production at First Class Honours from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in 1994, specializing in black and white cinematography.

Director Michael Figgis awarded the joint prize for Best Visuals in her graduating year to her and writer/director Erland Erikkson for his short film “All the Kind People”.

Ingrid has worked in the camera crews of the British Film and Television Industry since 1994. However, stills photography has always been a passion and has complemented her work in moving pictures.

Since going professional with her photography in early 2006, Ingrid has earned the Associate Distinction from The Royal Photographic Society.

She is based in Chertsey and works mostly in the Surrey area, however her corporate and wedding photography takes her all over Great Britain.
