Hawaii Social Media Training Institute

Hawaii Social Media Training Institute (HISMTI) offers specialized training, in partnership with PCATT at the Honolulu Community College, The Box Jelly and VG addict that focuses on the application of new media and cutting-edge marketing skills for businesses. These classes educate individuals in online marketing, advertising and networking to establish their brand’s online reputation using effective, low-cost methods for Introductory, Intermediate or Advanced skill levels. Established in June 2012, HISMTI, has given individuals these new skills needed to become successful in online marketing, socila media, and search engine optimization. Instructors at Hawaii Social Media Training Institute are professionals in their field and it is required in order for them to do so. If they are no longer working in their field for greater than six months, they become ineligible to teach at the institute. ​ Individuals receive hands-on, real world, work experience, through partners of HISMTI, during their class sessions that provide them with a wealth of valuable work experience.
