We have a vision for a company that puts on specialty charity events that stray from the cut-and-dry dinner+silent auctions that I'm sure you know very well. We want to breathe life into charity/non-profit events with the intention of raising as much money as humanly possible.
Outside of FrancesaCon we are working on an off broadway play (for charity) that takes place in different parts of New York on the days leading up to Derek Jeter's last game at Yankee Stadium.
As for last year we had 1,300+ people register for the event and had about 500-600 people there at the event's high water mark. We had NY Jet Tight End Jeff Cumberland, NFL Hall of Famer Jack Youngblood, and Boxing Champion Amir Khan show up as special guests.
At it's heart the event is for charity and last year we were able to raise about $2,000, which was pretty good considering we are a two man team and worked on a nonexistent budget. This year we are hoping to triple that amount and make a splash as one of the best charity events in NYC.
