The Concord Coalition is a nationwide, non-partisan, grassroots organization advocating generationally responsible fiscal policy. The Concord Coalition is dedicated to educating the public about the causes and consequences of federal budget deficits, the long-term challenges facing America's unsustainable entitlement programs, and how to build a sound economy for future generations. The Concord Coalition's national field staff and loyal group of volunteers cover the country, holding lectures, interactive exercises, conducting classes, giving media interviews, and briefing elected officials and their staffs.
The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce is a member based organization structured for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural, and civic welfare of the Greater Portsmouth area. The Chamber is comprised of roughly 1,000 members, ranging from non-profits to small businesses to corporate headquarters. Membership spans geographically from the Seacoast of New Hampshire, to Southern Maine, to the North Shore of Massachusetts. The Chamber hosts monthly business networking events, and coordinates various committee activities, including Government Affairs, Business Development, the eCoast technology roundtable, and Tourism.
