Glassboro Marketplace

Rowan Boulevard is a $300 million municipal redevelopment project that physically links the campus of Rowan University with Glassboro's existing retail corridor on Main and High Streets. The new, 1/3-mile boulevard includes mixed-use retail, residential and office space, including housing for more than 1,100 Rowan University students.

A 129-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and a multi-tier parking structure are currently under construction, helping to cement Rowan Boulevard as a regional destination for visitors, diners and shoppers.

The Boulevard and downtown Glassboro rely on density created by new housing options, in addition to the more than 12,000 students and 4,000 staff at Rowan and the Glassboro population of more than 19,000. More than 350,000 people live within a 10-mile radius of Glassboro, which sits at the center of Gloucester County. Glassboro is just 40 minutes from Philadelphia and Atlantic City and boasts easy access to routes 55, 47, 322 and 295, making it the ideal location for business development and community activity.
