Dawn Gilmer

Dawn Gilmer has been involved in dance most of her life.  She majored in Physical Education and Dance at Texas Tech University.  In 1987, she became a Christian; and in 1990 changed the name of her dance school to Christian Dance Center.

At Christian Dance Center students were trained in dance and in using this gift for God's glory.  Children's, Teen's and Adult ministry teams arose and the students learned dance straight from scripture as well.

In 1994, His Company International was formed as a ministry tool to reach people for God.

His Company dancers have ministered through dance in prisons, numerous shopping malls, parks, homeless shelters, hospitals, churches and festivals throughtout the greater Houston area and surrounding states.

Since 1994, HCI has taken teams of adults and teens throughout the world ministering in churches and evangelizing.  They have traveled to Peru, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, Romania and Austria displaying God's word through dance.

Dawn was ordained by Kingdom Advancer's International in 1998.  She is supported by her husband of 34 years, Mike.  They have two grown children and one very special granddaughter/

What a blessing it is to work alongside other labourers in the body of Christ to build His Kingdom.
