Laila Makled
Laila joined the Women Grow team team in May of 2015. She currently works at Stones' Phones, a progressive Political Consultancy firm based out of DC where she worked to pass Intitaive 71.
Previously, she was a Neighborhood Team Leader for Organizing for America, and an intern at 5 Lakes Energy and Capitol Services, consultancy firms in Lansing, MI.

Laila grew up in the Great Lakes state of Michigan and is a first generation policy buff in her family. She graduated with honors from Michigan State University at James Madison College with a degree in Social Relations and Policy in June 2014. When Laila is not in the office, you can find her exploring DC’s local dive bars, heading up DC's chapter of Women Grow, and tutoring middle school students at For the Love of Children.
