Community Housing Resource Center Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides emergency, temporary, and permanent housing for working homeless families and low-moderate income families. While providing housing services we teach financial literacy and good credit.
Our agency provides the following housing related programs:
The Rental Program provides training on tenants’ rights and responsibilities, fair housing, home care, security deposits, lease agreements, roles and responsibilities of tenants and property providers, and the impact of evictions. Monthly visits will be conducted to help tenants move from temporary to permanent housing and eventually homeownership. Our Housing Coordinators visit our customer’s homes to ensure a smooth transition and provide our customers with additional Rental Tenant Education.
The Homeownership Program consists of helping our participants locate and purchase affordable homes. Our program is designed to make purchasing a home more affordable for low-to-moderate income families and individuals. We will work with lenders to help our participants get fixed, low interest mortgage loans.
