Christine Terrell
Christine has been making jewelry from upcycled tins for years under the corporate name adaptive reuse. She has a strong affinity for all things used, reused, and recycleable. In fact, it was her inability to throw away tiny pieces of tin that inspired her investigation into encaustics. She was immediately bitten by the encaustic bug and has found warm, pigmented wax to be just about the most engaging medium she has worked with to date. Her paintings are colorful experiments that strongly reflect her training and background in graphic design. You can see more of her encaustic work at tincaustics.com and at christineblogs.com.
