Children's Aid Society

The mission of The Children’s Aid Society is to help children in poverty to succeed and thrive. We do this by providing comprehensive supports to children and their families in targeted high-needs New York City neighborhoods.

Since our founding in 1853, Children’s Aid has been at the forefront of developing innovative and effective programs for New York City’s most vulnerable children. Our caring begins before birth and continues into adulthood, addressing all aspects of a child’s development. And because children are most likely to thrive when their families are stable, we provide a host of services to parents as well.
