CineOdyssey Film Festival
The CineOdyssey Film Festival is 501(c)(3) arts organization that seeks to introduce audiences to diverse, contemporary films from around the world. The three-day event showcases the works of filmmakers from the U.S. and African, Caribbean, Latino, Asian, and Native American diasporas. Panel discussions, guest speakers, and networking events augment the festival.
The festival intends to give a platform to the next wave of filmmakers of color, celebrating their artistic achievements, as well as cultivating an appreciation of the art form, inspiring audiences to bridge cultural understanding.
Our programming serves to engage dialogue with an audience that represents a broad demographic spectrum and a wide range of gender, ethnic, and economically diverse backgrounds. The festival also fosters provocative considerations around social issues that affect our community through film and discussion.
The impressive lineup of films boldly address the multicultural issues of today, which meet at the intersection of race, class, and gender, as well as celebrating the creative craft of the art form.
