ChangeHive Inc.

San Diego Mini Maker Faire is a production of ChangeHive Inc working with a community of artists and makers who believe in the importance of creative expression to education, economic development and personal satisfaction. This event is the first instantiation of our mission.

Our mission is to produce and deliver programs and events that engage the public in activities which enhance science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education. In addition, our efforts are intended to catalyze transformation of social institutions that result in better understanding of STEAM by many more people and which will lead to increased creativity, more innovation, better educational and increased economic productivity.

We are a fiscally sponsored project under the Media Art Center, a 501c3 (http://bit.ly/16mSv8e), while we wait to be issued our 501(c)(3) non profit corporation status which is currently in process of review.
