Candlelight Theatre at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site
Candlelight Theatre utilizes the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site as the perfect setting for its productions. The 2017-2018 season is the first time the company is adding a summer production in addition to its traditional three. Established in 2004, when Dr. Donna Wing worked with the museum staff to create what has become Candlelight Theatre, this partnership features 19th-century and early 20th-century plays with the President's historic home providing a one-of-a-kind stage.
Guests will travel from room to room enjoying performances throughout the mansion, including up and down two flights of narrow stairs (elevator assistance is available). Guests will view shorter vignettes standing and longer scenes seated.
