The British College of Osteopathic Medicine has been training osteopaths in London since 1936. We currently offer two degrees, the Masters in Osteopathy (M.Ost), a four-year undergraduate integrated masters, and the BSc (Hons) Osteopathy for Diplomates, an academic top-up for qualified and practicing osteopaths. BCOM also offers two PgCerts in Children's Osteopathy and Osteopathic Sports Care. These courses are validated by our partner institution Plymouth University. BCOM also runs an Access to HE in Health and Human Sciences.
BCOM was the first institution in the UK to offer an osteopathic honours degree and to achieve a landmark “approval without conditions” QAA led RQ recognition from the General Osteopathic Council for two consecutive reviews - a sector leading achievement. We have teaching and research clinics at our campus in London NW3, where we engage with our local communities and the cutting-edge of the profession and the wider scientific world.
