ASEI stands for “American Society of Engineer of Indian Origin”, reflecting the Asian Indian engineer who chartered the organization in 1983.
ASEI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of technical professionals, students and businesses. ASEI provides a platform for mentoring, networking & education, to engineers, professionals and entrepreneurs. Each location of ASEI offices is called a chapter. ASEI has grown into a prominent not-for-profit organization, which is inclusive and transparent in its governance and operations.
