Position Summary:
Eventbrite is revolutionizing the event ticketing industry. With a proven success record among the core management team and backed by top investors, Eventbrite facilitates millions of dollars in monthly ticket sales and has experienced triple-digit percentage growth. Our ideal VP of Marketing candidate will be someone who can foster innovation and scale up marketing efforts to further solidify our leadership in online event ticketing and registration.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the marketing team in creating and executing upon a comprehensive, scalable, multi-channel customer acquisition plan
- Take risks while providing measurable results on all programs
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams by influencing design and feature developments to drive new customers and retain existing customers
- Participate in strategic decision-making as part of our Executive staff
Required Skills:
- 5 or more years of experience as the head of a marketing department in a consumer or SMB facing Internet property
- Strong quantitative skills and background
- Prior experience as a team lead who is comfortable with all aspects of people management (hiring, performance management, creating a productive work environment, etc.)
- Prior experience at a direct marketing driven Internet start up

Position Summary:
Eventbrite is looking for an Accounting Manager who is willing to roll up the sleeves and touch many aspects of our internal and external accounting methods. We are at the helm of a unique marketplace - our clients are event organizers and we help them sell out their events through our simple-yet-robust online ticketing service. This position reports to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Closing the books every month - maintaining an income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet
- Managing merchant account including processing payouts, refunds and charge backs
- Collaborating on fraud protection and risk management
- Establishing and monitoring internal controls
- Running point on company audits and tax-related activities
- Working with Customer Support and Ops teams closely on relevant issues
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
- 5-7 years in an accounting role within an audited company
- Knowledge and experience in all aspects of balance sheet and income statement
- Expertise in QuickBooks and Excel; prior experience in internet revenue accounting a plus

Position Summary:

We are looking for an entry level Customer Support Representative - someone who has always loved helping people, in and out of work.
Position Summary:
This position will entail doing what you love all day long - helping people. Through phone and email you will be interfacing with our awesome customers, and working through various issues with them to help make their event a success. Your previous experience on web 2.0 sites will be invaluable to our customer as you help them learn more about our site features and improve their unique event site. You will draw upon your existing knowledge as an attendee of seminars, conferences, and parties to help your client market their event in the most effective ways, set up multiple events, resolve day-of-event concerns, and provide information on pricing and payments. Ultimately your goal will be to delight the customer and send them away with more knowledge and a smile.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Answering calls and emails from event organizers and attendees
- Being an expert on Eventbrite features as they are launched
- Monitoring customer-posted content and reviewing reported customer issues
- Escalating customer issues to appropriate channels when needed
- Providing instruction and tutorials about our service to existing customers
- Interfacing and collaborating with other internal teams when appropriate
Required Skills:

- Surfacing unique and newsworthy events and sharing them with our community
- Reaching out to event organizers with content and design tips

- Conducting interviews with event holders to surface best practices for publication on our blog
- Reviewing each newly published event and monitoring quality standards
- Monitoring Twitter activity and responding to customers
- Managing Eventbrite's Facebook Fan page
- Assisting existing customers with the use of Eventbrite by creating HTML & video tutorials and knowledge base articles
Required Skills:
- BA in English, Journalism, or similar
- 1 - 3 years experience as a copy writer / content editor for the web
- Ability to quickly review content and make recommendations for improvement
