The 2013 INspiring INnovation Tour is an amazing opportunity to learn about new applications and technologies in your specific area of work. Last year over 1100 scientists and researchers participated in these information-filled days.

Call for Presentations

PerkinElmer is inviting all scientists to submit presentations for consideration for our 2013 INTour. It's your chance to share your ideas and experiences with others in the industry and to be recognized as an innovative leader in your field.

Making a Difference:

In 2012, 100% of registration fees from the IN Tour were donated to local and national charities, with many that focus on science and math education. To-date, PerkinElmer has raised $14,790 which has been donated to the charities below. PerkinElmer will continue to donate 100% of proceeds from the IN Tour in 2013 to local and national charitable organizations.

What You'll Learn:

Throughout the day, you will be meeting with technical experts in our INnovation Hub to discuss new industry trends and applications. In addition, there will be multiple presentations by local and national experts for each industry (scroll down for complete list of presenters and agenda). Each location will feature specific agendas tailored to the region.

Environmental:

This track showcases the most relevant applications, methodologies, research and discoveries in the field of environmental science. Gather with top industry experts for robust discussions about best practices for monitoring air, water and soil to meet changing regulations, the latest technological advances in instrumentation and nanotechnology, and how to keep your lab running smoothly.

Industrial:

This track focuses on a variety of applications geared towards chemical/petrochemical, plastics and polymers, mining and geo-chem and used oil analysis. From sample-preparation to analysis and reporting, PerkinElmer experts and our esteemed
guest presenters will help guide you through the inevitable trials you face in the lab. The knowledge gained from this event will equip you with the power to improve efficiencies.

Food and Nutraceutical:

In this track, you'll hear about the latest updates in food and nutraceutical safety and compliance. You'll also learn about new and updated analytical testing methods and
technologies related to identification and authentication, contaminants and pesticides, and nanotechnology.

Forensics:

This track will mainly focus on emerging applications and technologies in the areas of toxicology and trace evidence. You’ll learn about the latest developments in blood alcohol technology and regulations, drugs of abuse screening and confirmation, fiber analysis and more.
