How these fees work
Eventbrite Service Fee
For every ticket you sell using Eventbrite, we charge 2.5% of the ticket value plus $0.99 per ticket. No matter how much you charge, we cap our service fee at $9.95 per ticket for event organizers.
Credit Card Processing Fee
When you collect money through Eventbrite's standard credit card processing, we charge 3% of the ticket value.

Add fees to the ticket price or include in price
It's your choice on how you pay the fees. You can have your attendees pay for all fees by adding them on top of your ticket price. Or you can pay the fees by including them into the total price of the ticket.
How you get paid
Your funds are sent 5 business days after the event ends via direct deposit or mailed check, and may take a few days to reach you.

Alternative payment processors
PayPal
When you collect money through PayPal, you're charged the Eventbrite Service Fee plus PayPal's payment processing fees. Attendees are redirected to PayPal's website to complete their purchase and you receive funds directly into your PayPal account.
Google Checkout
When you collect money through Google Checkout, you're charged the Eventbrite Service Fee plus Google Checkout's payment processing fees. Attendees are redirected to Google Checkout's website to complete their purchase and you receive funds directly into your Google Wallet account.
Authorize.net
When you collect money through Authorize.net, you're charged the Eventbrite Service Fee plus Authorize.net's payment processing fees. To activate your existing merchant account, please call us at 1-888-541-9753.

For example...
Jill wants to collect $50 per person for her cooking class to cover her expenses. She uses Eventbrite's credit card processor to collect the money, and her total Eventbrite Service Fee + Credit Card Processing Fee are $3.74 per person. She passes the fees on to the buyer, so each participant will pay $53.74 to attend Jill's class. Jill will make $50 per person.

For example...
The Opera House charges $150 per ticket for their annual charity gala. They use Eventbrite's credit card processor to collect the money which costs $4.50 per ticket and Eventbrite's Service Fee is $4.74 per ticket. The Opera House chooses to pay for both fees, so they will receive $140.76 per ticket sold from Eventbrite after their event.

For example...
John hosts a luncheon and uses PayPal to collect money online. For a $25 ticket, he can pass on the Eventbrite Service Fee of $1.61 to the buyer, so people will pay $26.61 to attend. PayPal will deduct its processing fee of $1.07* per ticket and Eventbrite will invoice John for the Eventbrite Service Fee. As a result, John will make $23.93 per ticket.

For example...
The local community center holds free shows and sporting events. They can use all of Eventbrite's features to promote their events, free of charge, since they don't charge money for their events.
