A Welsh festival of literature, music and performance! Celebrating Celtic culture and heritage!

An international gathering of wandering bards, poets, writers, musicians and artists!

Archdruid of the Gorsedd of Bards to MC!

Mum's Welsh menu: Welsh Rarebit or Cawl (lamb vegetable soup), Roast Lamb with Roast Potatoes and Leeks or Bangers and Mash or Sole with a lemon butter sauce. Homemade Bara Brith for dessert (Welsh fruitcake).

A Hash Primer

Hashing is an exhilaratingly fun combination of running, orienteering, and partying, where bands of harriers and harriettes chase hares through town, country, jungle, and desert, all in search of exercise, camaraderie, and good beer.

It’s a "drinking club with a running problem!"

The Run: starting line, the Arrowhead Homeowners parking lot! Follow the hare to the Magic Meadow, a magical circle of Aspens and fur trees just beyond the Inn at Arrowhead’s pub, known this day as the British Royal Selangor Club Chambers!
The Circle (a.k.a. Religion): At trail's end, hashers gather to in the Magic Meadow to drink beer and observe religious ceremonies, which consist of drinking more beer, this time ritualistically. Ceremonies led by Hash Grandmaster Fire Chief Kevin Stilley!
The On-On (a.k.a., the On-On-On, On-Afters or Dinner): 6:00 PM!
RELIGION continues after dinner with the telling of jokes and singing of songs, and all members, visitors and virgins should come armed with at least one joke or song lest they be called upon.

THE END OF THE BEGINNING, 8:00: the YEHAW "slap the spurs off my cowboy boots" COUNTRY SOUNDS of the FIVE PERSON country-western band ROUNDABOUT!

Christmastime at the Inn!

Lovely Christmas decoractions and Christmas trees filled with twinkling lights fill the Inn with festive joy for the best holiday of the year!

Celebrate Christmas as if you were in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England! That's right! We celebrate a traditional U.K. Christmas here, incorporating all our Celtic heritage, a twisted kilt of a Christmas! Mum cooks up declious foods from every corner of the United Kingdom, including turkey, roast leg of lamb and goose! Flaming homemade plumb pudding and sherry trifle for dessert! Complimentary Christmas crackers! Lots of fun traditions and toasts and, of course, the Guinness flows like the snow falls!

After dinner, for those who want to sip a nice port and sit back and relax for an hour or so, there's a reading of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" by our guest reader/performer! (TBA)

New Year's Eve Masked Ball!

Every year the Inn throws a masked ball for New Year's Eve! This year the era is the Roaring Twenties! That's right! Dress like a Flapper and a Gentleman With Bowtie And Tails or a Chicago gangster!

Masks are required!

Period costumes are not required but they are encouraged. If you can't dress up, you're welcome to come looking good and snappy (no jeans or tee shirts allowed).

DJ Heath-o-rama spins discs for you all night long! Midnight Countdown. Balloons fall from the ceiling at the Midnight Hour! Prizes for best costumes! New Year's Eve drink specials. And Mum cooks a blow-your-mind dinner for the Midnight Revelers!
