ISA100 - The Wireless Systems for Automation standards committee is changing the way the world looks at industrial wireless possibilities including wireless security methods to prevent tampering or wireless signal intrusion. On Tuesday March 25th from 5pm to 7pm, a member of the ISA 100 committee will be present at the CENAZ-ISA Section meeting to discuss the standards development process, explain the latest news surrounding the standard and show a presentation about the characteristics of the ISA 100 Standard. After the session Dr. Fuhr will answer questions about the standard or wireless in general. Dr. Peter Fuhr is the Chief Technology Officer of Apprion, Inc. located at the NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field, California and has over 600 publications and presentations within the realm of sensing systems and wireless network connectivity. The ISA 100 Wireless Presentation begins at 5 pm to 7 pm with cold drinks and snacks provided. The Presentation is held at the Brown & Caldwell Engineers Offices in the Collier Center at 201 East Washington Street Suite 500. The session is in the Grand Canyon Conference Room on the third floor. Parking in the basement.
