SUBJECT: Record Pool Meeting and Promotional Offer RECORD POOL MEETING: This is a monthly meeting; every 3rd Sunday.LOCATION: Mike's Crossroads, 100 3RD AVE. N BIRMINGHAM, AL 35204
DATE: FEBRUARY 17, 2008TIME: 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm
PROMOTIONAL OFFER: Record labels and artists have the opportunity to promote their music through a promotional listening party (Record Pool Meeting). The sponsor's song is played 6 times prior to showcasing it. During the showcase the area's best DJs, PRODUCERS, PROMOTERS, RETAILERS, MANAGERS, A&R, PROGRAM DIRECTORS, and CLUB OWNERS will listen to and document their feedback for the labels and artists. Sponsors music will be distributed and put in the hands of over 120 Record Pool Members. The RW CD & Record Pool provides a time to network and share contact info with all attending parties.
For optimal results we recommend sponsoring at least 3 months. This will better your chance for a public response to your music.
ARTIST/LABEL FEE: $125.00 Non-refundable* *amount can be credited towards the next months record pool meeting if artist/label cannot make itDEADLINE: FEBRUARY 15, 2008 FULL payment must be paid in Cash or Money Orders (Post Office Money Orders Only Please), Make payable to Ron White, Director, RW CD & Record Pool. A copy of the single you are promoting should be included for the mixtape prepared from each showcase. If you cannot meet the deadline contact me.
