BECOME A STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR A DAY!!!

The Jaycees will have the opportunity to elect party leaders, sit in the big chairs on the House floor and debate bills that you may decide to pass into law.

 Your legislative agenda will include:

  • Caucusing with your Party members
  • Election of Party leaders
  • Training by members of the Michigan Legislature
  • Debating bills on the House floor
  • Sharpening your skills in Parliamentary Procedure
  • Lunch

You will also learn the process of how bills are proposed in the legislature and then passed into law by your elected representatives.
