The Louisville Writers Workshop Project
&
The Jazz Factory
Invite creative writers (including poets, playwrights, essayists and fiction
writers), journalists, and staff of local publications and arts
organizations for the first Louisville
“Creative Cocktails" Party
Ken Shapero, owner of the Jazz Factory, has offered the club as the
host venue, and yours truly (Michael Jackman) will be hosting on behalf of the Louisville Writers
Workshop Project.
Purpose: Help create community among writers, publications and organizations, socialize and talk up Louisville arts.
The Jazz Factory
will be offering happy-hour priced drinks, free appetizers and a
special “Creative Writing Cocktail” to be unveiled that night.
After the party, you can stick around for
Jazz and the Spoken Word.
