networking events to promote myself.
I know lots of other people that are in that same place.
People that are looking for sales at networking and
social events with great expectations, only to see
little or nothing happen. As I said, I was in that same
place. And then something changed...
I changed. You see...
I took a step back and watched other small business
professionals that had been in business for
themselves for many years. Some had growing,
booming businesses and others were somewhat
successful but remained at the same business stage
for a long time.
But I couldn’t figure out what separated them. Same
events. Same suits. Very similar products. On the
surface, I couldn't figure out what differentiated them.
Until...
I met one man at one event. Same suit. Same
event. Same conversation. And he asked me some
questions. A LOT OF QUESTIONS. But after all, the
questions weren't exactly the same. This conversation
didn't feel like all the other ones. And I finally started
to put it all together. I had a feeling that this was a
person I needed to follow and see what his
experiences were.
And I was right. HE WAS THE MISSING LINK...
