Join us for the second Moonlight Madness trail run for 2011. This event will be held out in Cottonwood Valley. This is our big Moonlight event every year, in 2010 we had 125 show up, and we expect the same this year.
These trails are red dirt, rocks and a lot of fun. They are also real trails, not paths, not paved. They are well-defined, and well marked with reflective markers every 100 M or so. We have a very firm belief that true trail runners are explorers at heart, and minimalists in many ways. Our aid stations are at the half-way point of the 10K and half distances, and they are self-serve. BRING A HYDRATION SYSTEM. There will NOT be people out on the course to hand you little cups of water every 2 miles. There will be plenty of Hammer nutrition products for you, and lots of sweets and salty snacks and fruit.
