Created from a former tyre storage building, the Art Deco-style, two-storey restaurant has a gallery with seating, tall ceilings and a huge central staircase, giving it a distinct cruise-liner feel - although not in the tacky sense.
It manages to be classy and sophisticated but relaxed and friendly, too. Live music is there too, courtesy of a mini grand piano.
Chef Patron Andy Sparsis told us: "We want to make you feel like a millionaire but without making you feel like you have to be a millionaire to eat here. These days, restaurants all go for a theme but we wanted to eradicate the need for that - our theme is good food and we combine French, English and Italian, like a bistro from the Eighties. We are passionate about food and that passion comes across in our menu."
