The MAGPI Virtual Forums aim to bridge Higher Education, K12, and Public/Cultural/Non-Profit entities around issues and opportunities specific to their disciplines. The four MAGPI K20 Virtual Forums focus on the following fields/disciplines: Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Math and Science, Heath Care and Medicine. Forums are held virtually through the Internet2 Commons and will always be from 9:30-11:30am on the first Thursday of the month during the academic school year. The MAGPI Virtual Forums are open to any interested individuals in the tri-state region from any organization with MAGPI connectivity.

Our next Math and Science Virtual Forum is on February 7, 2008 and features presentations on the Challenger Learning Center e-Missions program, an Internet2 Science and Engineering update from Russ Hobby (Internet2), and a possible presentation from NOAA on using high performance networking for climate modeling  In order to participate in this forum, you must register by Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
