Build A Multimedia Environment For Your Organization

A workshop for editors, reporters, producers, public relations professionals and others trying to find their way in the 21st century

Presented by the Central Ohio Chapter, Society of Professional Journalists

Are you prepared for podcasting? Do you know how to reach readers, users and clients who rely on the Internet for most of their news and information? The Central Ohio Chapter of SPJ is presenting a workshop that explains the basics of podcasting and much more. Taught by Randy Walk and Chuck Nelson, online producers for Dispatch.com , the all-day workshop will show you how to create a slide show for your Web site and how to add audio to that site.

The workshop also will cover all aspects of podcasting and video production. This includes shooting and editing, digitally encoding what you've recorded, plus editing your work. You'll also learn how to put your finished product "on air" via the Internet.

You'll spend the last part of the day viewing and discussing the latest trends in Internet technology and communication. Some of the most innovative work out there will be shown.

All this takes place at the Columbus Dispatch conference room on Saturday, Feb. 16. A box lunch and coffee breaks with snacks and pop are included. Seating is limited, so register now.

Sign up for SPJ and receive a rebate on the cost of a professional or student non-member registration. Application forms will be available at the workshop or go to SPJ's Web site and join online.
