The California Cultural Data Project (California CDP), which launched on January 4, 2008, is the most ambitious and comprehensive effort ever to gather and analyze information about the contributions of the cultural sector to California’s economy and quality of life.
Get the most from the California CDP.
This important training session will show you and your staff how to enter data into the system. Once complete, all you have to do is click a button and the report you need to submit with your application to participating funders will be generated.
Furthermore, you will have access to powerful reporting tools that you can use to run annual reports, view trends in your organizational performance, and shortly, you will be able compare your organization to others (in aggregate).

The California Cultural Data Project is a standardized online system for collecting historical financial and programmatic information. The Project is a state-wide collaborative effort of public and private funders. Arts and cultural organizations fill out the California CDP once each year and then use the data as part of their grant applications to all participating funders throughout the state.
