Michael Hannigan, President and Co-founder, Give Something Back Business Products (GSB). Mike co-founded GSB in 1991 after working for more than a decade in the office products industry. He based GSB on the business model established by Paul Newman, which donates all its net profits to charity. To date, GSB has donated more than half its profits, amounting to more than $3 million, to community groups that support better education, healthcare, culture, and environmental stewardship. Mike is not only a successful entrepreneur who grew GSB from a living room enterprise into California's largest independent office supplier, he is also a frequent speaker at business schools, including U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, and conferences and gatherings of businesspeople here and throughout the world. Mike, whose company has earned dozens of business and service awards, has garnered numerous awards himself, including the Berkeley Community Fund's Individual Achievement Award. He chairs the Oakland Workforce Investment Board, and donates his time and expertise as a community volunteer and socially responsible business consultant.

Dara O'Rourke, Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management, at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to coming to Berkeley, he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dara’s research focuses on the environmental, labor, and health impacts of global production systems and new strategies of democratic governance. He is currently studying changes in the organization of global production systems, new methods for monitoring and measuring the environmental and social impacts of supply chains, and new systems of global regulation. Dara is currently on leave from UC Berkeley to help start a "for benefit" social venture - Taoit.com -  to inform consumers about the environmental, social, and health impacts of products and companies.
