The presenter will summarize how we got here with an entertaining look at things that worked, things that didn't work and what we have learned from those experiences. David will describe our current "state of the industry" including the impact that the economic crisis has had on the green building process. Most importantly, he will share developments occurring right now that will shape the future of green buildings for many years to come.
Strategic decisions that USGBC made regarding design and development of the LEED Online Technology platform, set the stage for the "Next Phase of Transformation of the Market". In the months and years to come, we will see an abundance of products and services introduced to the market intended to streamline and automate the LEED certification process. Real examples and detailed concepts will introduce attendees how a more effective/efficient process will improve the quality of LEED certified buildings while increasing the volume of LEED certifications processed through the system.
