Explore the relationship between “big history” (that stuff in the media) and your individual life. History is not a dry recital of dates and places – history is stories. This teleclass will introduce you to an easy, fun, and no-pressure way to discover how you contributed to, and participated in, the events of your time.

This hour will take you on a wild gallop through the decades of the 1970s and 80s, exploring how you, or those you knew, made a difference. You will learn:

  • Why your stories are important
  • How to use historical triggers to stimulate memory
  • How to use others’ memories to trigger your own
  • How to enhance your writing with the integration of historical details

This teleclass is based on the book “Making History: how to remember, record, interpret and share the events of your life.”   You will receive suggested topic questions and extensive historic timelines, plus a chance to purchase the book at a 20% discount.
