How To Make Safety Your Employees’ Problem
Most companies do their best to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, but they become frustrated when employees – who are injured after engaging in unsafe behavior – benefit from liberal workers’ compensation systems. This seminar will help participants develop and implement programs that place responsibility and accountability for safety squarely on the shoulders of employees and supervisors. With more than 90% of all accidents and injuries resulting from the unsafe actions of an employee, accountability programs are critical in preventing such incidents.
At this seminar, we will discuss the importance of responsibility and accountability, both which are critical elements in any successful safety and risk management program.
Without accountability, employees will continue to perform work in the manner they choose, which may be unsafe.Employers who chose not to hold employees accountable, will continue to suffer the costs associated with the accidents and injuries that result.
