The Technical Assistance Workshop is designed for Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (SDFSCA) coordinators. This day will provide an opportunity to hear about substance abuse issues, learn about new resources for program management and network with colleagues. The priorities of the workshop are to assist SDFSCA Coordinators by providing: The workshop will be held at the Sheraton Park South Hotel, 9901 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, Virginia, 23235. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. for the technical assistance workshop. The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude by 3:15 p.m. Lunch and break refreshments will be provided. A block of rooms are reserved at government rates for your convenience. Please call (804)323-1144 to reserve your room by March 31, 2008. To get this rate, mention Virginia Department of Education SDFSCA workshop. SDFSCA funds may be used for this technical assistance workshop in accordance with current state travel regulations.
