Martin VanDerSchouw, PMP currently serves as President & CEO of Looking Glass Development, LLC. Looking Glass Development is a PMI Global Registered Education Provider and a Certified Microsoft Solutions Provider. In this capacity, Mr. VanDerSchouw is responsible for managing the annual budget, business operation, and both business and marketing strategies for a multi-million dollar organization that has experience significant growth every year since 1999. Additionally, Mr. VanDerSchouw regularly makes more than 50 presentations per year to groups in the areas of Leadership, IT governance, and Program / Project Management and is responsible for managing the relationships with LGd’s more than 200 partner outlets and our academic relationship with one America’s top 50 universities and colleges.

LGd lists among its clients IBM, First Data Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Cenveo, General Electric, Intel, the U.S Army’s Pacific Command, the U.S. Military’s Northern Command, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S.National Park Service, the U.S. National Nuclear Security Agency, ChevronTexeco, and many others.

With nearly 20 years of experience as an executive and information technology professional Mr. VanDerSchouw serves as the 2007 Chair of Performance Oversight and Secretary Treasurer as a member of the International Board of Directors for the Project Management Institute, was PMI’s 2004 International leader of the year, was recently named to the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, serves as a member of the prestigious President’s Business Advisory Council for President Bush, serves as a member of Colorado’s Commission on Information Management as appointed by Colorado Governor Bill Owens.  Previously, Mr. VanDerSchouw served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the countries 3
rd largest interactive agency where he worked with firms such as Amazon.com, HotMail, Sun Microsystems, and ESPN.com.  Prior to his CTO  posting he was an information technology executive with Wells Fargo & Company in San Francisco, California.

Mr. VanDerSchouw and his work have appeared in publications such as Forbes Magazine, Interactive Week, Virtual Finance, PM Network, the LA Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the San Jose Mercury News.  He has lectured at the Daniels School, the Kellogg School, the Krannert School, the Price School and many other colleges and universities throughout the United States.  Mr. VanDerSchouw has earned the prestigious Project Management Professional designation and is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association.  Martin is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development, is listed in the National Register Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals, and teaches at the graduate level for one of the top 50 colleges and universities in the United States.

Mr. VanDerSchouw is a graduate of the University of Kansas in Military History and Political Science with master’s work in Social Choice and Game Theory.

Mr. VanDerSchouw is married with one daughter and one son.
