This month, Creative Brkfst is offering a limited number of guests the chance to visit the Plymouth University Letterpress. The original way of printing is now used mostly by enthusiasts and specialist printers only, with most modern, commercial print suppliers using digital technology.

After our short talk and demonstration by Paul Collier, the Letterpress Technician, you will have the chance to have a look around and ask questions... or chat! This will be followed by coffees in the Coffee Bar.

I personally know that when designers get in touch with Letterpress, their work changes, so if you would like to be involved in this unique opportunity please join us!

Proceeds of the ticket sales for this event (after any costs) will be donated as a contribution to the running and maintenance of the Letterpress facility. As a specialist print method, maintaining the equipment and buying new accessories is very costly!

We will meet at the Main Reception of the Roland Levinsky Building at Drake Circus before heading to the Letterpress facility. The nearest parking facility is the Drake Circus shopping centre, located just across the road.
