Presenters: Larry Tate and RACC Public Art staffv
Location: Meet at RACC offices, 108 NW 9th, Suite 300, Portland, OR 97209 at 8am, return by 6pm
Fee: $60 for transportation and lunch
Join us on Thursday, April 24th for a one-day public art expedition to Seattle to visit Fabrication Specialties (FS) and the Olympic Sculpture Park. Tour Fabrication Specialties 15,000 square foot artist-owned and operated business and learn about materials and processes used in designing, fabricating and installing public art. Following that visit, we’ll move on to the Seattle Art Museum’s new Olympic Sculpture Park that features over twenty works from Louise Bourgeois to Tony Smith.
